End user licence agreement (EULA)

Diese Seite ist noch nicht übersetzt.

Draft, not legally binding. A lawyer will review this text before the launcher is released. Data in square brackets will be filled in by the operator. If the Czech and English versions differ, the Czech version prevails.

This licence agreement governs the use of the QUANT EIDOS launcher and game client (the "Software") between you and [OPERATOR NAME], company ID [IČO], registered office [ADDRESS] (the "Licensor"). By installing or running the Software you accept it. It supplements the Terms of Service.

1. Licence

1.1. The Licensor grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable and free licence to install and use the Software on devices you control, solely for personal, non-commercial play of QUANT EIDOS under the Terms of Service.

1.2. The Software is licensed, not sold. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

2. Restrictions

Unless the law expressly allows it, you must not:

  • copy (except normal installation and backups), rent, sell, sublicense or distribute the Software,
  • decompile, reverse engineer or disassemble the Software, except where mandatory law (section 66 of the Czech Copyright Act No. 121/2000 Coll.) permits it for interoperability,
  • modify the Software, its files or its network traffic, or create derivative works,
  • use or develop cheats, bots, automation tools, injectors, proxies or unofficial clients that communicate with the Software or the servers,
  • circumvent technical measures, anti-fraud protection or updates,
  • remove copyright or trademark notices.

3. Updates

The Software updates automatically (the launcher downloads new game versions). Without the current version you may not be able to connect. Updates may change or remove features.

4. Technical data and crash reports

The Software sends the server technical data needed to run and protect the game: client version, error and crash reports (error text, version, graphics card and graphics API, operating system), connection data and game commands evaluated by anti-fraud protection. Details in the Privacy policy. The Software does not read other files or processes on your computer [VERIFY: if client-side anti-cheat is introduced, this point and the privacy policy must be updated].

5. Third-party software

The Software contains third-party components (including Unity, Electron, PrimeTween and open-source libraries) and content under free licences (e.g. CC0). Their licences take precedence for those components; the list is included in the installation [TO ADD a licence file].

6. Warranty and liability

The Software is provided "as is", without warranty that it is error-free or runs on every device. The Licensor's liability is limited as set out in section 10 of the Terms of Service; the limitations do not apply where the law prohibits them and do not affect consumer rights.

7. Termination

The licence ends when you delete the Software, close your account or breach this agreement. After termination, uninstall the Software. Provisions that by their nature should survive (restrictions, liability, governing law) remain in force.

8. Governing law

This agreement is governed by Czech law; disputes are resolved as set out in section 13 of the Terms of Service.
