Community and fair-play rules
QUANT EIDOS is a game for every pilot. Fights belong in space, not in chat. These rules apply in the game, the launcher, the website and the official Discord.
1. Respect
1.1. No insults, threats, harassment, bullying, stalking or publishing other people's personal data.
1.2. No hate or discrimination (race, nationality, religion, gender, sexual orientation, health and others).
1.3. No sexual, extremely violent or otherwise illegal content, no promotion of drugs, gambling or extremism.
1.4. No spam, advertising, links to scam sites, impersonating the QUANT EIDOS team or other players.
2. Names
Pilot names and clan names or tags must not be offensive, vulgar, politically extremist, misleading or contain third-party trademarks. Inappropriate names will be changed or blocked.
3. Fair play
3.1. Prohibited: cheats, bots, macros, auto-clickers, modified clients, reading or modifying memory and network traffic, tools that give an unfair advantage.
3.2. Report bugs, do not exploit them. If you find a bug, report it on Discord or at [E-MAIL]. Exploiting bugs is punished like cheating; rewards for reporting serious bugs are possible.
3.3. No real-money trading (RMT): selling, buying or exchanging in-game currencies, items or accounts outside the game.
3.4. One player, one account at the keyboard. Account sharing, playing for others for payment (boosting) and running several accounts at once for an advantage are prohibited.
3.5. Using several of your own accounts together against other players (e.g. honour feeding) is prohibited.
4. PvP
PvP is part of the game and allowed on maps intended for it, including attacking pilots of your own faction at the cost of honour. It is prohibited to exploit bugs, bypass newbie protection or repeatedly target one player outside the game's frame (e.g. in chat).
5. Reporting
Report a player in the game (Report button) or at [E-MAIL]. Reports with context (map, time, recent messages) are reviewed by a human. Abusing reports is also a breach of the rules.
6. Sanctions
Depending on severity and repetition: warning, chat mute, disconnect, temporary ban, permanent ban, removal of wrongly obtained content, progress reset. Cheating, bots, RMT and payment abuse usually lead to a permanent ban without compensation for game content and purchases. You may appeal a sanction at [E-MAIL] within 30 days.
